began a two-week run at Number 1 on the UK chart

The album was recorded at New York's Madison Square Garden

and Baltimore's Civic Center

on the 27th & 28th of November in 1969

'Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!' was released on Decca Records in the UK

and on London Records in the US
