The Beatles performed All You Need Is Love

Live via satellite as part of the TV global link- up Our World

to an international audience in excess of 350 million

from a crowded Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios

Mick Jagger ~ Keith Richards ~ Eric Clapton ~ Graham Nash

Keith Moon ~ Gary Leeds ~ Marianne Faithfull provided backing vocals

The supervisor was George Martin

the musical brain behind all the Beatles' records

The orchestra musicians

were not rock & roll youngsters

Mick Jagger was sitting on the floor

Jagger was a semi-regular guest of honor at Beatles sessions...

Mick also turned up for the mixing of Revolver 

and the recording of the orchestral section of A Day in the Life...

Eric Clapton was also in the crowd 

in full psychedelic regalia and permed hair...

Other notables in attendance were Mike McCartney (Paul's brother), Patti Boyd Harrison (George's wife) and Jane Asher (McCartney's girlfriend)

Keith Moon sat next to Ringo Starr's kit

showing allegiance to his fellow drummer
